South Park Summer Walkabout

South Park Summer Walkabout

South Park Summer Walkabout

Walkabout in South Park is probably one of our favorite local events here in San Diego, and we are so excited about this one. We will be debuting some new products at the Walkabout! It’s all happening on Saturday, July 9th, and can’t wait to show you all what we’ve been working on!

We will be in front of Brake & Rumble, one of our favorite vintage shops. Located at the corner of 30th Street and Ivy, we will be just behind The Station Tavern, another great local restaurant and bar.

Finally, be sure to come see up between 6 and 10pm, and check out what we are working on!

Indestructible Cold Pressed Green Juice from Lucky Dutch Juice Co. In San Diego

Cold-Pressed Spotlight: Indestructible Green Juice

Our healthiest, most “veggie” cold-pressed green juice is our newest addition to the Lucky Dutch menu.

Cold-pressed juice is a great way of getting more vitamins and nutrients, and our Indestructible Green Juice takes care of your body and your taste buds.

Made with pineapple, pear, spinach, kale, romaine lettuce, celery, cucumber, sprouts, lemon, and ginger, Indestructible is well balanced and chock full of nutritious ingredients.

Kale has a ton of health benefits – it lowers cholesterol, fights cancer, and contains over 600% of your daily Vitamin K.

Celery is rich in antioxidants that contain anti-inflammatory properties, and even doubles as an acid reflux and heartburn reducer due to it’s low acidity.

Add in amazing ingredients like ginger, spinach, and sprouts and you have a green juice for the ages!

Cold-Pressed Juice Spotlight: Mexican Candy

Cold-pressed juice and Mexican Candy? Juice is amazing, but add that to the flavors of San Diego, and you have a whole new world of possibilities. With Tijuana just 15 minutes away, craft beer and fish tacos as staples, and our wide variety of local ingredients, we have created a great juice that taps into the local palette.

Our Mexican Candy juice is one of our most popular flavors, and is made with tangerine, orange, tamarind, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar and raw coconut palm sugar.

Mexican Candy, a staple of San Diego’s children and adults alike, is a sweet, spicy treat traditionally made with tamarind, a fruit from Asia and North Africa with plenty of health benefits such as lowering cholesterol, treating stomach issues, and promoting a healthy heart. The tamarind fruit is very acidic, and can be extremely sour by itself, but it very popular around the world, especially in chutneys, stews, and marinades, as well as desserts!

It’s a bold, spicy juice for those who love strong flavors. Those who enjoy adult beverages might even want to try using Mexican Candy as a mixer in a tequila or mezcal cocktail!

Sold in our glass bottles, be sure to return your empty bottle for $1 off your next juice purchase.

South Park is one of The Best Places to Live in San Diego, and is a vibrant community full of amazing restaurants and charming shops.

“What South Park may lack in size, it makes up for with a tight-knit community of small businesses and events, like the South Park Walkabout. The petite ’hood manages to keep its cool factor high with eclectic shops and restaurants. There’s Progress for gifts and home décor needs, Café Madeleine for a cuppa that feels straight out of Paris, and, for the mother of all Neapolitan pizzas, the uber-popular Buona Forchetta. Next up? Kindred, a stylish vegan eatery serving beer and cocktails.” –San Diego Magazine
